This film was created for the 5th 24-Hour Animation Competition. (Also known as THAC 5) Cashman was written and produced in under 24 hours, with the provided theme "intervention" and the requirement of a red brick touching a white brick or the letter X in every frame of animation. With my previous THAC entry, The Pepperonis, I focused on a longer story and had very basic post-production work. This time I tried for something shorter, which allowed me a little more time to work on visuals. The film was awarded 1st place out of 38 entries.
